Precision positioning of lenses for laser source
Nanometrica precision
The Phi-W Robotic Wrist system is used in several fields. One of the main ones is the precise positioning of lenses for the automated assembly of laser sources.
This system integrates Phidrive’s microgrippers, and two ultra-precise corrective axes (accuracy of about 1 mrad) to pick up lenses of various shapes and sizes (on the order of millimeters) from a blister pack, correct their alignment, and glue them inside the laser source.
PhiDrive’s Phi-W Robotic Wrist System guarantee precision and the complete reconfigurability for micro-component assembly lines that commercial robots and parallel kinematic machines alone cannot garantee
